It produces reverse osmosis water at up to 500 GPD, a pace that allows it to function as a tankless system without affecting functionality. The centerpiece of the system is its dual-flow RO membrane that receives water from both sides of the membrane housing and is fueled by a high powered booster pump. Higher water pressure to the dual-flow membrane results in faster RO production and less drain water being rejected. These factors culminate in the RCS5T achieving an exceptional 1:1 pure to drain water ratio. The RCS5T can be used with water pressure sources as low as 25 psi, and has a built in pressure gauge to provide an accurate pressure reading. A power source is required for the booster pump, and a holding tank can be added to the system for high usage situations. Please Note: The RO membrane capacity is affected by the inlet water pressure and water temperature. 500GPD is the maximum rated production rate, not the recommended daily usage amount.

I am very disappointed with the lack of information on replacing the filters on the ro ispring tankless 800 gpd. there is not one video anywhere that shows a step by step video of how to. I have used the RCC7AK for the past 7 years and it's been a great product. The water tastes great. One part did end up failing after years of use, but I plan to replace that and continue using the RCC7AK in a different location. We have used the RO500AK-BN with UV filter for more than three months with complete satisfaction. Water comes out of the faucet at about one ounce per second. Noise when it is running is an indistinct rumble quieter than a cat purring. Installation is straight forward, even though at 6'4” I don't easily fit under the kitchen counter. No need to cut tubing except one cut for the UV filter. The printed instructions are good but omit one bit of advice: When you cut a tube, immediately use a Sharpie marker to circle both “new” ends ¾” from the cut. When inserting tubing in even the smallest piece, there may be resistance but be sure to push the tube in all the way to that mark. The connection will leak if you don't. In spite of what others say, this unit works without problems with our 32 psi well water. Our refrigerator's ice maker freezes cubes properly without an intervening tank. The ice maker's sharp click is substantially louder than the RO's rumble.. Rick. Thu Dec 28 2023
