Quality is pretty low, but so is the price. It LOOKS good, but the finish is razor thin sticker material. And the MDF is not that durable. This door beautifully serves the need I had to separate a den from the dining room to provide overnight guests more privacy. It has a nice finish and is solid enough to provide a bit of sound deadening between the two rooms. My installer did note the lack of a dado cut in the door for the track, so he didn’t notice that a particular end should have been “up” - so I think he mounted it upside down (the door’s cross panel is about 5” deep on one end and 7” on the other). Not a big enough deal visually for me to have the door re-mounted, but an indicator for which end was intended to be the top of the door would have been nice. The door doesn’t come with handles but I was able to find finger flush-mount and loop handles that worked beautifully. The door is made solid enough to screw handles into it.. Caryn. Seattle, WA. Bought this for my Dad's modern farmhouse and it just brought everything together. Well-made and absolutely a stunning statement piece. The door looks great however it is very heavy. The door itself was easy to assemble but installing the slide bar was very difficult. I wouldn’t have purchased it if I had known how hard it would be.
