Ok so I would have given this 5 stars because it’s gorgeous and COULD HAVE BEEN easy to assemble - BUT… it came with the screwsbolts on the legs covered in some sort of protective hard plastic that was all but GLUED to the metal. I had to use assorted serrated knives to sawpry them off first. It took half an hour to get them all the way off and by the time I finally did it, there was shredded plastic all over the room, the wood was damaged because there was no way around that (I had to be aggressive to get them to budge), and I was bleeding. It was the perfect size of the space where I was trying to get some extra storage. Assembly wasn’t too difficult, but the drawers don’t open very smoothly. I like the overall color as I didn’t want to worry about what kind of wood finish to get to match my hardwood floors or existing trim which is already a mismash of different colors. Well to be perfectly honest, the delivery team was fantastic! They arrived as they indicated, they were, friendly, courteous, and ever so efficient. The bookcase arrived early enough to have placed all necessary items on the shelves long before the noon hour. However, once the packaging was removed, the bookcase put in its proper place the matter of how to remove the wood wedges (placed on the left and right sides) holding the shelves in place became the major obstacle of frustration. It's like getting in your car to take a drive, you open the door, take a seat, put the key in the ignition, turn the key or push the button and nothing happens, looking at the gas gauge, you realize you have no gas. Went online to your website, located the item page, found there were instructions on how to remove the wedges. It’s like being stranded in the desert with no water and no camel.
