This thing is SUBSTANTIAL! Even though I saw the dimensions I was still surprised by the impact of this - I love it. For me, it’s a great transition between French industrial, refinedmodern industrial and modern styles. The shades look designer and have a lot of visual interest, but they are also so sturdy that they are a nice juxtaposition of feminine and masculine aesthetic. The crystal ‘knob’ accents above each light give it a touch of glam without going overboard because it really recedes. I love that it has these finishing touches and curves whilst being mounted on an angular modern plate - it’s so much nicer than I expected and I really feel like it looks high quality and a step away from more generic looking vanity lights that are unremarkable in comparison. In my case I have changed my mind on the location for this because it’s a great statement piece - it’s not going in my master and I’m keeping the mirror and vanity very minimalistic so it can shine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so pleased with how this new (to us) Kichler Farum 9.5" 1-Light Wall Sconce with Clear Glass in Chrome looks in our kitchen pantry. It brightens it up so much compared to our previous light fixture and it looks so classy while it's doing it. The clear glass shade of the sconce really lets the light shine through in what was previously a pretty dark little room. The chrome is beautiful and shiny and rich looking and it's a perfect size for the area we have it in. My husband said that the installation was fairly easy and that the instructions included with it were clear and easy to comprehend. It also complements the rest of the finishes in our kitchen that we have been changing out for chrome. I didn't tell our family members that we had put in a new wall sconce so when they went into the pantry after my husband was finished installing it, we kept hearing "whoa" or "whoa, I can see in here now" from each of them as they opened the door and turned on the light.
