It’s more like 7ish inches, but still makes a world of difference compared to a 6-inch mattress. Pictures are taken after 36 hours of sitting. Took shape immediately after unbagging. It is a Firm Bed, the base feels pretty solid, I only out 4 stars because the material feels cheap and there was some tears on the back of the headboard.
