Ordered this farmhouse sink in glossy blue. Absolutely love it! Color is even better than it appears online. More iridescent. Depending on angle, it appears anywhere from indigo to purple to royal blue to black. Quality is top notch. Am extremely impressed. Kitchen is not ready yet for the install but will update with photo when it is done. I wanted something different and unique. This fits the bill!! This beautifully designed farmhouse sink instantly elevates any kitchen. Its smooth, high gloss apron front serves as an elegant centerpiece for the entire kitchen. Durable ceramic construction with high temperature heat-treated vitreous glazed surface to resist stains and scratches.

My first worry was will it arrive in one piece. The packaging of the sink was thick foam, fully cushioning it, protecting from bumps and knocks which occur in the normal delivery process. Fits perfectly in the space, no problems occurred in the install. Purchased an older home, gutted the kitchen, thought I’d save some money on an apron front, double sink. The double sink was lighter in weight constructed of thinner material. Had it for 2 years when it was damaged when a 3 qt cast iron Dutch oven pot bumped the bottom of the sink creating a hole. My handiman, said it should have chipped but not have caused a hole in it. The cost of the old one was roughly 250, you get what you pay for. The new sink has been cast from a heavier thicker material. First impression is ‘that sink is HUGE!’ It is 37” across, hard to find a drop in of this size. The apron is a full 10 inches high and takes center stage! Sides of sink have a slight 1/4" taper from top to bottom. There are many benefits to fireclay. Its glazed surface inhibits bacterial growth more than stainless steel. It is eco-friendly requiring less cleansers. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to .25". Custom cabinet required to support weight of this sink. * A note about fireclay: small cracks will appear on the unglazed underside of the sink, these are cosmetic only and have no impact on the performance of the sink.
