This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. They heat up quick when you need it and the barely there simmer level is really good. They cool fast as expected from induction, really easy to clean up messes. The oven temperature is true and burns evenly. Convection is an added feature that I use a lot with baking and love it. I had this oven since January and I love it, only good things to say so far.. Wow what a difference! This range hood replaced one we had that seemed like it was from the 1990s. We got the 36 inch wide and it fit our under cabinet space perfectly. It took up less space under our cabinet and was higher than our other range hood so less risk of bumping our heads! The shape is really sleek.
