I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. I was relieved to find a shower door that had an inches worth of adjustment to it because the space that we had to put it in is not exact. I was also glad to find a door that would work with a very small space. That's where the bi-fold comes in. The space that we have would not work well with either a hinged door or a pivot door. The door is attractive and I suspect the glass will clean nicely once we know that it is installed properly. That has been the only problem. The instructions apparently are not that great and the person installing it for us house already come back once to correct the mistake of having the door outside of the gasket which I don't suggest doing because that will just let water in. But I'm fairly certain he installed one of the door strips upside down and it's not working quite right. If the instructions were really good I would give it a five plus plus Star Wise. This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is.
