Looks great. The strip that keeps water from flowing out the bottom of the door isn’t adhesive enough so I’m going to have to glue it down with something stronger. Until I do that, I just keep the door slightly ajar about a 5 degree angle while in the shower (my door opens into the shower) and the water rolls down the door and into the drain. That’s why I’m so glad the hinges were reversible and I could set the door to open into the shower, a big deal because I didn’t have space to open the shower into the room. Also the shower came with more than enough of that strip that goes at the bottom in case I should have to cut another piece I’ll have enough. No other water issues Another reviewer mentioned that it should’ve came with two of those L shaped wall brackets, I agree that would make it more sturdy. It seemed wobbly when it was first assembled but once the silicon was dry it’s pretty solid, you have to be very careful those first few days until it dries though. The glass is beautiful the hinges are not too shiny and look sturdy. I squeegee the glass almost daily because it’s fun but even when I don’t, there aren’t any spots. Nice shower door I suppose. I’ve never installed a frameless one before. I did so as you can see from the picture. So far so good. 3/8” glass door feels substantial and it is indeed heavy. Having said that, I would strongly suggest the hinge side be mounted into wall stud. Dreamline provides the anchors and screws. But again, the U channel holds the hinge panel, and the top bracket actually handles the load. Fortunately for me on the rebuilding of the shower I triple studded that wall in preparation for a shower door. 4 stars because the directions are atrocious. They send you manuals for every door in several languages. It’s up to the home owner or installer to pick through the sections that apply. I think that’s cheap and ridiculous. Dreamline should also consider making model specific instructional videos for the buyers (put them online!) That would be extremely helpful. Lastly, the Allen wrenches supplied are quite feeble and cheap. I also recommend having your own hex tools available especially if you need to adjust the over-pivot screws in the hinge. I was looking for a soaking tub that could be great for having a centered overheard shower head, could fit very tall people (6'5 +), was durable, and visually interesting... this tub is all of that and more! I couldn't reccomend this enough. The bottom is flat for standing and the size is perfect. It's still easy to step in and out of and to bath a small child. I have gotten so many compliments on the style, size, and function of the tub. Luxury and function. It's a very heavy duty stone material. I have hard well water that hasn't seemed to stain or cause issues but it does come with a light grain sand paper if you do have any small stains or issues. 10/10 no notes.
