This efficient machine is just what we needed for our bedroom. It was easy to install. We read previous reviews that said they had to cut the window insert with a handsaw, so we were prepared. It was very easy to trim with our basic handsaw. It fit beautifully. We trimmed it out with white duct tape so there were absolutely no air holes anywhere. But the flexibility, and relative ease (its still an air conditioner!) of taking it in and out of the window to only use when needed has been amazing.
