Everything worked out well! We used this kit as sliding door instead of poker door. We covered the hardware part with wood and paint so that hardware won’t expose and it doesn’t look like a farmhouse which our house is not like that. In the original box, a set of wheels was missing. This was the only hardware I could fine with a solid rail. The kit arrived well packaged and I am impressed with the overall quality of materials and the instructions. The rail is solid, and the mouning hardware is really well designed, with adjustable spacers depending on your configuration. I did not want the metal straps on the front of the door, so I opted for the top mount configuration. I outsmarted myself and added another 1/4" to the recommended height, and I should not have done that. Use the 2" rail stops from the top of the door and you will be fine, even if you are installing over a carpet floor, like I was. I also wound up trimming the rail because I have a perpendicular wall next tot he door. I used a small hack saw, which worked OK, but it took some time and effort. Perhaps a circular grinder would have been better. Regardless, it worked out fine and looks great. I definitely recommend this hardware if you are haning a barn door.. Robert. San Diego, CA. This was my very first order with Wayfair. The product looked good, But, a 72” was sent and I thought I had ordered a much longer (168”) track, being that I have an 80” opening and would need at least 160” for both doors to open. However, the return process was very easy. Not happy with the restocking fee (may not be the right term) of $20 something dollars, but the representative was very patient and helpful. The package includes all the hardware kits you need to install a sliding barn door. Except for doors. The barn door hardware can be used both inside and outside. It is rustproof, waterproof, and fireproof. The standard door thickness for our hardware is 1 3/8'' to 1 3/4''. If your door thickness is not within that range, please go to our second tab, "Customization Services," for more detailed instructions on how to customize it. The spacing between each hole is American Standard 16''. Tracks 8 feet and under are one single track instead of being connected by multiple shorter tracks. Tracks from 9 feet to 16 feet will be connected by two tracks. Tracks 18 feet and 20 feet will be connected by three tracks. Therefore, the spacing between the holes in the connecting section may not be 16''. Each complete track can hold a door weight of up to 220 lbs. Usually, we recommend the track length to be at least double the total door width or the opening. For example, if you have two doors that are each 30'' wide, You will need 2* (30''+30'') = 120'' long track. Or if you have an opening that is 48'' wide, you will need at least a 96'' long track. The minimum clearance (from the top of the door to the ceiling) you need to install this barn door hardware is 6''.

Our doors come in unassembled panels, but they can be put together easily and quickly by yourself with the help of our tongue-and-groove design on the panels. These doors are also perfectly compatible with our sliding barn door hardware kits. The slanted stripe design panels allow you to flip them around as you install the door and have 4 different possible designs that you can achieve.

While the door is beautiful BE AWARE the hardware(track) is NOT included. I hired someone to come out and after putting the door together realized there was no track. THIS SHOULD BE IN THE TITLE. It is in small print on one of the photos but agai this should be included in the title. So now I ordered the track but have to wait a week and a HUGE barn door is up against my wall.. Jodi.
