While the door is beautiful BE AWARE the hardware(track) is NOT included. I hired someone to come out and after putting the door together realized there was no track. THIS SHOULD BE IN THE TITLE. Everything worked out well! We used this kit as sliding door instead of poker door. We covered the hardware part with wood and paint so that hardware won’t expose and it doesn’t look like a farmhouse which our house is not like that. In the original box, a set of wheels was missing. If you are installing the hardware on a concrete wall, please send us a message asking for specialized bolts. Their product is compatible with a door. If you have a thinner or thicker door, please contact us for the correct length of the bolts for the hangers. Please notify us to put spacer extensions in the package if you have thicker doors. The spacer extension will extend the track further from the wall to fit the thicker door. If you have a door trim, you’d better put a header board that is as thick as the trim and then attach the rail to the header board. You need to have at least 6" of space between the top of the door to the ceiling to accommodate the hardware. They use two hangers to hold one door. For a single door kit, there will be two hangers in the package. For a double door kit, there will be four hangers. If you have a door that is either too wide or too heavy, then you can purchase addition hangers for that door.

The package includes all the hardware kits you need to install a sliding barn door. Except for doors. The barn door hardware can be used both inside and outside. It is rustproof, waterproof, and fireproof. The standard door thickness for our hardware is 1 3/8'' to 1 3/4''. If your door thickness is not within that range, please go to our second tab, "Customization Services," for more detailed instructions on how to customize it. The spacing between each hole is American Standard 16''. Tracks 8 feet and under are one single track instead of being connected by multiple shorter tracks. Tracks from 9 feet to 16 feet will be connected by two tracks. Tracks 18 feet and 20 feet will be connected by three tracks. Therefore, the spacing between the holes in the connecting section may not be 16''. Each complete track can hold a door weight of up to 220 lbs. Usually, we recommend the track length to be at least double the total door width or the opening. For example, if you have two doors that are each 30'' wide, You will need 2* (30''+30'') = 120'' long track. Or if you have an opening that is 48'' wide, you will need at least a 96'' long track. The minimum clearance (from the top of the door to the ceiling) you need to install this barn door hardware is 6''.
