Unlike most factory-finished hardwood floors which have a bevel along the upper edges and ends of the floor, the Natural Choice 5/16 in. thick solid product from Bruce features a Square-edge, Square-end profile. This engineered flooring is a neutral greige tone. The finish is smooth with no wood texture feel. The top and bottom plank are full length where the middle pieces are split which I thought was odd but maybe that’s how all boxes come The backside of the planks are a rustic finish that I kind of like (see last photo). We decided to refloor our rental trailer, and this flooring was great for the job. Since it is water repellent, we could use it throughout the trailer, including the bathrooms. Love this tile. The only note I would make is that since it has three pieces on one tile there is “grout” between the tiles. It’s is bright white. My tile installer was able to grout over the existing grout and the new spaces in between. It also dictates what sizing you have to use for the grout. I hadn’t thought about this before installing..
