I ordered the anvil May 27 2025. Wayfair said it shipped May 30. Never arrived. Called Customer Srvice (he couldnt have been nicer). Customer Service escalated the order. Turns out it was lost in transit. A replacement was organized and shipped June26 (now a month has passed). On July 10 the anvil arrives. The container had obviously been opened and poorly reclosed (screws were stripped out). The anvil is fine (I expected to need to dress the edges, etc.), but the anvil face is deeply scratched and shows rust. For some reason there was an IV Starter kit in the container)! Still trying to wrap my head around that one. I havent decided whether to send it back yet. I will take a closer look at the anvil face and see if it is salvageable. Do not recommend. Thomas C.. Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off.
