The first chair took me forever to assemble, but I used it as a learning experience. I learned that I could have saved myself a ton of time if I had used the provided allen key with the red top (looks like a wine bottle opener), instead of the conventional one that was also provided. I also learned that I needed help from someone else for a few stages in the process because it saves a lot of time. Things went a lot smoother and faster when I put together the second chair. It is really small, looks a little ridiculous between our rockers. I didn't check the size close enough, by the photos, it looks like a nice sized side table. It's more of a plant stand size. The legs bow a little, the lower shelf is a bit larger than the top. The color matches our chairs well. I purchased it using some store credit, so it wasn't a lot out of pocket.
