This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. Great pattern; goes with everything! I wasn't sure how soft it would be since it's indoor/outdoor (and we put this in our dining room), but it's super nice as an indoor rug. There's no way you could get this into a washing machine, so I'm not sure why they show it that way, but with the rich colors I don't think it will show dirt easily, so vacuuming and spot-cleaning it will be!.
