The Ansleigh manual push-back recliner is activated by merely pushing on the arms of the reclining chair and it will simultaneously activate both the footrest and chair-back into a TV or reading position. Further pressure applied to the arms will move the chair into a fully reclined position.

This chair is well made, really comfortable, and much more than I was expecting. (You never know what you are going to get when you are ordering online). This was an exceptional purchase and I am thrilled. The leather is a soft ivory (not light brown as advertised) and matched my other furniture perfectly,. The chair swivels and is SOOO comfortable. The open/close mechanism is solid and smooth, and the padding is thick, and feels really supportive in the right places. I appreciated the 'white glove' service in bringing it into my house and setting it up for me. That was a bonus. In the end, I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase, this chair is really solid and comfortable, and lovely to look at.
