This has been a great addition to our cats’ furniture collection! The smalleryounger cat loves to sleep on the flower on top, which is made of something like memory foam, but a bit denser. I imagine it is somewhat self-heating and also helps to hold onto the heat from the window. My largest cat loves the middle level basket. She will curl up in it for hours and has since I took it out of the box. Her sister is terrified of the entire thing and avoids even being near it. I have no idea why. I picked it because it had 3 levels, and they are always together, but it has not appealed to her yet. It's a very cute tree and fairly easy to put together but it ended up being wobbly no matter how much I tightened the screws. The flower is more of a step than an area for any adult cat to sleep on. The basket though is fine. Neither of my cats would sleep in the soft hanging basket on the side as the whole tree would likely tip. This tree is really best suited for kittens and very small cats. My 12 and 14 lb cats would not play on this. But I am adopting an 8 lb cat that is fully grown and she will probably like it.
