Installation by plumber was without issue. Has been functioning very well since installation. Extremely low electric use and not very loud. It does keep the basement cooler, but that's not an issue.. This model does a good job overall at washing fabrics. It also has a nice look and a large capacity. I really like front-loading models because they seem to do a better job of washing clothes as well as larger items like comforters and sleeping bags. It is fairly quiet and has a sufficient number of wash cycle options. It also lacks features that I found unnecessary, like steam cleaning and a "towels" cycle. Solid, reliable water heater that does exactly what it should. The performance has been excellent so far—plenty of hot water and quick recovery. Installation was straightforward, and it operates quietly. The Smart features are kind of neat and fun to look at, but honestly not something I’d say is essential or worth paying extra for.
