The remote made it easy to operate. I was able to set temp, timer, fan speed, and mode. Additionally, phone app made it even more convenient. I didn't have to be in the same room or even home to get it started so the space I needed it in could be cool by time I get there. The ONLY drawback was the AC compressor was louder than I'd expect. Very quiet compared to most brands I’ve had. I do think it could be a littler cooler on max but it will eventually cooldown the room and maintain good temp after.
