Doors are SOLID and heavy. Very happy with quality for the price. A couple of corners were damaged during shipping. Mostly a cosmetic issue. But both Wayfair and the manufacture worked with us to find a solution. Overall very pleased. We specifically liked that these are already painted, so it was one less thing we needed to worry about right now. It was a bit of work for our contractor to set the hardware as the doors are are not prepped for that but we knew that from previous reviews Even with that our local building supply store wanted 3000 for a “custom” door of this design. The unfinished barn door is made of 100% natural spruce. The surface is unfinished and ready to be stained. The unfinished door can be stained or painted to the desired finish/color.

Good quality for the price. I needed a 4' sliding door for a storage room in my basement. I thought of building one myself, but the price of the materials and hardware would have been highter than the cost of this kit and everything needed came in the box. I put a coat of polyurethane on the parts before assembly. Assembly was straight forward but not easy. It would probably be easier with a smaller door. Getting the tongue and groove panels lined up was a bit of a challenge with so many of them required. I'm happy with the result. It's a good solid door and it's easy to open and close.. Dan. I got this bi-fold door for my walk-in closet and I’m really happy with it so far. The single-panel shaker style looks clean and modern, and it matches my other shaker doors perfectly, which makes the whole space feel more put together. It came very well packaged with no damage at all. The finish is smooth and nicely primed, so it looks good as-is or ready to paint.
