This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. I have been looking for a washlet for a long time and I am very glad I settled on this one. It has a ton of features and is the newest replacement version for the k300 I believe. I have to keep it on low or walk around with a sweater on. This is an awesome unit. This is a 18000 BTU. The supplemental heating in this unit is very useful in the winter months to keep warm. I did buy an air purifier filter and received it yesterday so I’m reading the directions to see how to put it in.
