I bought this cable tray because I enjoyed it had a method without having to drill a hole. Super great for that reason alone, particularly if you have a minimalist desk with glass like I do! The metal tray kinda appears bent which I cant tell if its like that because of shipping or because its that type of cheap metal that flexes a bit when you tighten it to something. The hook-and-loop straps that were included were a nice inclusion, I am glad they came with something, but they did not secure my laptop. I wound up replacing those straps with a thin nylon strap with D rings. That way I could pull the strap tight to ensure that the laptop would stay put.
