Fortunately, it's only four screws, the rest is like putting together a Lego set. It just takes some serious pounding with the rubber mallet to get the pieces to go together, and I mean serious pounding. Just fair warning. The dish soap helps to get things going. This standing broom and dustpan set by JOYBOS is very good and works well. It comes with 2 two brush heads: one soft, one stiff, however, I could not tell the difference between the brush heads, the seemed to be the same bristle stiffness. I love the standing dustpan as it is very easy to sweep into it. I also love the combs on the dustpan especially when trying to clean pet hair off of the bristles.
