Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. The grill was not difficult to put together. It was packaged really well but did receive a dented tray. I'll email the customer service dept. noted on their instruction manual to replace it. After put together a few parts needed adjusting and unfortunately it teeter totters back and forth as something is off but I can't figure it out. I'll have to find something to balance the leg to keep it sturdy on my patio. The grill itself is nice, small in width but perfect for what we need. The 4th burner makes up for the smaller width. It fires up as it should so I'm hoping our 1st meal on it won't be an issue. I'd recommend the grill for it's price, for sure! I hope it lasts for years to come.. Carynn. Clermont, FL. The optional griddle is one accessory that is a must have. It is a direct replacement for the grate so it will fit with all Kenyon electric grills. For Texan owners, this means you can have one side for grilling, and one side with a griddle, or both sides with a griddle. This cast aluminum griddle is coated with the longest lasting non stick coating available and is the best way to prepare breakfast or anything else that requires a flat surface. To clean, simply take a wet paper towel and a set of tongs after you have finished using and wipe across to loosen any remnants, if that is not enough, after the griddle has cooled it can be placed in the dishwasher and will look like new every time.

The griddle is a nice add on but since it's small like the grill it's hard to cook a lot of stuff on it like pancakes. I have to make a batch and put in the oven for warming. I will say the pancakes came out excellent but probably the same as a cheap electric griddle. I'd recommend getting the griddle but it's quite expensive for what it is. Our connection kit has been assembled using matching components to assure the best performance. We start with our 10" x 3/8" Non-Whistle Flex line and add fittings to connect our dual flame burner to your 3/8" OR 1/2" male flare gas stub coming into your fireplace. The 1/2 inch connection hub on both ends allows you to connect from either side. Lastly, we have added Permium Silica Sand media to this deluxe kit to cover the burner. This will quiet the potential noise of the gas flowing through the burner. All this adds up to exactly what you are looking for in a fireplace gas flame burner; the highest possible flames! We strongly recommend that all gas products be installed and serviced by professionals that have been certified by the NFI or WETT.
