Had a hard time finding a fan the size I wanted but this was it! I wanted a larger size and most were not long enough for my 36" stove width I wanted a good 4" on each end. It looks great. Bit loud on low speed but think it's bcs it's so long. I don't mind. And it does a fantastic job of sucking up garlic or onion smells! Love the sleek look, baffles easy to remove and wash. We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was. Sleek and a eye catcher. Has great ventilation pull and has several levels of suction. My only complaints are...the fan is a bit loud and my front panel only lights up once you press on the light or vent fan icons. It's extremely hard to see the number on and light icon on the solid black touch panel. It should have a back light. Could be the installer missed connecting a wire for the back light. We bought this in August of '21 and love it. It's a sleek design and the fan works great. If I would change anything, I would have four lights instead of two to distribute the light better. I ordered 4 of this style ceiling fan. 3 were fine. The last one had defective wiring to attach light to the fixture. Per Wayfair, had to go thru mfg. for resolution. Owner of my electrical company trouble shooted and was able to resolve the problem a couple days later. Appears to be working fine. However this did incur add'l cost for installation. My concern was when I requested replacement of ceiling fan there were only 3 left in stock. Feared would not be able to get another. The process ultimately turned out ok but was not comfortable how issue was handled for above reason especially since recently purchasing 3. The fixture is stylish and fan produces more than adequate air flow considering the small footprint. Item is very nice but the resolution was frustrating and time consuming.. Val. Shamokin Dam, PA.
