This thing is heavy duty, had some installation issues as the bolt pattern was a little different than the unit i replaced. The instructions don't mention what all the hardware is for but I recommend getting an extra long screw extension and some screws with washer built in. The angle brackets they included for what i assume is a cabinetless setup came in handy to hold it up while I got the top screws in. Its quite heavy compared to old unit needed to reinforce cabinet to hold the weight. Also cut off the plug to do a direct wire install. Performance is very good so far and not very loud. The only think I am not crazy about is the bright halogen lights, they should be further back so it illuminates whole stove more than your eyes. Overall this is a solid unit in its price range and I can finally put battery back in my smoke detector. I spent a long time researching powerful exhaust fans to replace a non-ducted microwave exhaust. A recirculating exhaust is almost worthless at removing grease and cooking odors. Eventhough this is nice looking, Im giving it 4 stars due to the fact it wobbles and Im worried my pans will fall. Its very weird how its made, dont know if its a defect. Cause no matter how I move it the grates still wobble. There is nothing to keep the grates from wobbling, we double check the box and nothing. Plus when cooking, the stove top stains very easy and I have to use baking soda to try and clean it. Nice but a little safety issue when it comes to the wobbling grates.. Francesca. La Quinta, CA. I’ll start by saying the jets are powerful and the heat holds nicely. And it’s a great size for two people. The control panel is almost too simple. Up down for temp, lights (3 colors), and power on off for the jets. Note - the user manual is garbage and explains nothing, and side panels are not removable. The photos don’t even match the hot tub in the manual. We filled up the hot tub and the jets wouldn’t start and it wouldn’t read a temperature or heat up. It took about 50 YouTube videos to learn that when filling up the tub each time put the hose directly into the filter hole to open the water lines. Also, it stated that it did not come with a cover, just stairs. So I purchased the lid separately for 300 and it showed up with a lid and stairs. The first seat that I received had a problem with a constant leak from the drying outlet, just beside the nozzle. It leaked into the toilet whenever it was plugged in. I called the service at Wayfair, and they emailed me a Fedex return label within a few minutes, and shipped a new bidet seat. I installed the new on and the same thing happened!! I was so disappointed. I contacted the manufacturer at the email address on the box, and received a reply within 24 hours. A nice lady called Lisa asked me to send pictures and videos showing the problem, as well as a proof of purchase, which I did. She then wrote back with a solution and video instructions on how to fix the problem. I had to disassemble de device and move the float inside which was probably stuck. She assured me that any tinkering of that sort would not void the warranty. So I tried and it worked!! I now have a bidet seat in perfect working order. I give 5 stars for the excellent service at Wayfair and also at Empava!
