Th ZLINE dual-fuel 48" range is a stunning addition to our kitchen and definitely stands out as the focal point. The blue matte door looks great, and overall build quality feels solid. The cooktop is spacious with plenty of burners, which makes it easy for two people to cook at the same time without getting in each other’s way. Performance is strong, but there are a few things to be aware of. Both ovens tend to run hot, so you’ll likely need to adjust your temperatures a bit. The front knobs can also get very warm during use, and they’re sensitive enough that it’s easy to accidentally trigger the igniter if you lean against them while cooking. Flame adjustment on the burners can be a little finicky as well. The included griddle is a nice idea, but it’s quite heavy and a bit of a hassle to remove and clean, so it’s not something we use as often as expected. Overall, we really like it. I had a lot of trouble, such as loud ventilations fans (that sounded like an emergency broadcast signal), uneven cooking, temperature swings of over 100 degrees, not all burners working, and misaligned doors that resulted in the small oven door opening whenever the large oven door was opened. All these problems have been fixed. The ventilation fans are super quiet. The burners work great. The temperature is even throughout (baking a cake was the test) and the oven temp is rock solid (I didn't even see the temperature change at all during the 15 minutes that I was monitoring it with a temperature probe.) Of course the great thing that hasn't changed about the Nostalgie is its looks, which has always been the case and is obvious just by looking at the photo.
