The inverter option is great for any place with short winters for the same reason noted above, no furnace needed! I heat up a room for the cold hours of the night and that’s it. The remote control is a must, but it works great with the thermostat so I just set the temperature I like and that’s it! The room stays at a comfortable temperature. My husband was able to do most of the installation. It was relatively easy to install the unit on the wall with parts that are included, we only had a certified electrician do the the connection and final install of the unit. Works great and I love the Diva rocker design over the older Caseta pushbutton switches. Nice to be able to add a second (or third, fourth, etc.) control point without the need for additional wiring. Instructions were entirely too confusing but I got it done. Super Heavy so be prepared. It cools my room fairly quickly. I couldn’t set it up to wi-fi but that doesn’t affect the functionality.
