Urethane faux wood shutters stay true to authentic wood by not only having a wood grain, but also by having the ability to be either gel-stained or painted. Longevity of this faux wood material is priceless, without sacrificing the real wood appearance of the shutters.

Purchased the Riverwood style. Painted them but have not installed yet. They arrived primed, but primer is tacky…sticky. I have had to put 2 heavy coats of paint on them. Still painting…waiting for paint coats to dry and not be sticky either. Only concern is the shutters are not as sturdy as I expected (why the 4 stars) and hoping during installation they will not be damaged. Beautiful shutters. Great detail. Love the custom sizes. Only negatives are that they do not come with any mounting hardware or advice on how to mount them…and for the price, I would have expected pristine condition but there are a couple of areas that look like they did not quite get enough paint on them.
