The medallion arrived on time and was well-packaged, arriving in good condition. Overall, it looks nice and should work well for my project. I can’t say enough good things about Ekena. Every order has arrived quickly, perfectly packed, and in flawless condition. The quality is so impressive that it pushed me to take on DIY projects I never imagined doing alone. I purchased a mitre saw, nail gun and caulking gun and was ready to go. Honestly, this has gotten so easy that I installed crown molding in my bathroom using leftover scraps in less than 45 minutes one day after work. I know there’s quite a few reviews on the medallion not fitting properly together. I may have been lucky because mine fit perfectly. I will tell you if you are looking for something that will fit around your canopy this will not fit if your canopy is 5 inches in diameter which mine is. My canopy fit perfectly centered in the middle but on top of where the medallion meets if that makes sense. I ended up having to cut mine to fit around the canopy because if I hadn’t I would have had to buy a longer screw for the canopy so it could sit lower then where it sat before. Canopies are meant to sit flush against the ceiling so there’s not much room to lower it. The medallion is about an inch or so thick. Crown moulding adds a beautiful finish to elegant rooms. To get this look you would simply hire a professional to figure out and install all of the complicated miter cuts. This made the cost of crown moulding more expensive as this method can be labor intensive. Not anymore. Our moulded inside and outside corners make installation a breeze. Say goodbye to miters with our DIY corners and couplers.
