I had installed a medallion when we replaced our chandelier. I was disappointed because the medallion was too small for the fixture. This ceiling ring was perfect to give the illusion of a larger medallion without having to start over! It would also be useful when the medallion you love is too small for what you need- more intentional than was my case. Calculating the size I needed was the tricky part! With the medallion, this ring, and the ceiling between the two painted the same color, it appears that I have a much larger medallion than I actually have. Crown moulding adds a beautiful finish to elegant rooms. To get this look you would simply hire a professional to figure out and install all of the complicated miter cuts. This made the cost of crown moulding more expensive as this method can be labor intensive. Not anymore. Our moulded inside and outside corners make installation a breeze. The medallion arrived on time and was well-packaged, arriving in good condition. Overall, it looks nice and should work well for my project. This worked out really well. I had a hole in the ceiling I needed to cover, so I ordered the 30” version. Item came as described. A word of advice: paint it before you mount it.
