This product is ok. It's a little tough to work with, not very flexible and comes wrapped in a coil, like a snake. You have to let it soften up and unwind it before you can work with it. Use your hands to get it to conform to the wood planks. I used drywall screws to hold it in place. Since it was in the ceiling you can't see the screws. I don't think that glue would have worked, too much resistance. It's really expensive for what it actually is, which is a strip of rubber with knobs on it, but it does the job of hiding the seams in my wood ceiling beams and pretending to be wrought iron straps.. I this item a 5 star review because its beautiful. However, the ordering process was a pain. wayfair kept changing the date of delivery. I had hired a builder to install them because it is holding up a small roof, so I needed to know a date of delivery but, every couple of days I received an email with a change. So, I called the manufacturer and they stated the delivery date has always been the same which was another date then what I had from Wayfair. The good news is it came 3 days early.
