I returned these, but they are nice looking in person (I ended up using metal brackets instead to support my countertop bar). I chose the walnut color ones, and they did not appear to be walnut colored. Also, VERY important to know, in very fine print, it says that they are not returnable - even though on the same page on the website, in large capital letters, that all orders from Wayfair can be returned within 30 days. Beautiful! I put them in a doorway in my apartment. I mounted them with Command strips. I did have to put a smear of E6000 glue on the spot where the strips went and let that dry first as the edges that go against the wall are a little porous and the strips wouldn’t stick. We attached flush French cleats to hang a sycamore board with a live edge for a nice display shelf in our dining room. These corbels work well for our mantel situation, although for my personal taste, I wish they were a bit less detailed. They are exactly as advertised. I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted in the right size, and these will work until I do. Our mantel needed to have a bit more “heft”, and this seemed like a good way to get that. They are super light-weight, obviously not made of real wood, but because they are painted, you can’t tell that. And with there being so light, they are pretty much trouble free to install.
