We were looking for valances or other treatments for our bathroom and bedroom windows, and determined these matched the window sill and crown molding in the rooms, so we used these as interior window headers. It comes ready to install, painting is not required, however, to maintain uniform color we recommend painting with 100% acrylic latex paint. Fasten your PVC with standard PVC cement and stainless steel or hot-dipped galvanized nails using common wood­working tools. We order the millwork crown moulding to marry our plaster crown moulding.We enduring a car running into end of our home..We had to replace 15 feet that was damaged and it worked beautifully with contractor using these in pinch.Very thankful for this product.
