Gotta admit, the light was better than we expected. The light combinations between actinic light (6500K) and yellow light (3000K) make this a mood synchronizer. Initially when turned on it was too dim, then we realized it was in the middle of it's intensity. The brightest intensity adequately lights up our kitchen. The fan we deemed weak, perhaps because our previous fixture was a light&fan combo that had bigger 3' diameter blades. Fan flow in our opinion is offset by the inconspicuousness of the fan as it is transparent, a nice feature. It has a remote you could loose and appears to hold it's last setting when turned on. This light fixture by Willa Arlo is indeed stunning. Upon opening the box, it was amazing at first site. Amazingly large, too! This fixture is exceptionally well built, it’s extremely heavy, well packaged, and beautiful. My husband of 78 years installed it by himself! It took him about 2.5 hours. When it came time to actually lift it, I did help him on a second ladder for no longer than two minutes. It would have taken half that time, but it has to sink into the hub. We both love the fact that the blades are metal, not plastic! Every part of the fixture is quality built. The crystals are preinstalled, no having to mess with adding time consuming hanging. The entire fixture is wrapped, safe guarding the crystals and fixture from any potential damage. As I mentioned this fixture is large. Larger than I had anticipated. I’m not sure if my space is large enough to handle the size. We may have to move it to a larger room. It is a gorgeous, well built, statement piece. One of the most beautiful fixtues that Wayfair has to offer. Yes, it is more expensive than most fixtures. However, I have seen similar fixtures, comparable to this one for over 2,000. Really love our new fan! I’ve been eyeing it for months and finally went for it and I’m so glad I did! Easy to install, great additional lighting, and the fan is small but powerful. I really love how unique it is. The fan blade actually comes off super easy for cleaning, there’s a little cap that unscrews and the blade (1 pc) comes off.
