This pair of armchairs was retrieved from Shanxi province located in Northwest China with a rich culture and history. The back splat of this antique armchair is carved with dear and decorative symbols. The restoration is intentionally kept to a minimum. Three things to be aware of: (1) Many of the pre-drilled holes weren't drilled all the way through, so we had to drill them ourselves; (2) You need your own specialized tools (like a drill with a certain-sized square drill bit & two different size sockets); and (3) At least for us, the box arrived extremely damaged, with holes in the box.
