I've tried every trick I know to get the hinges on the top cover to work and I just don't see it happening. It seems to be a poor design. The hinges work fine with one or both disconnected, but bind and fight each other with both attached. I am at a loss; the top cover will remain up with the hinges attached or down with them detached. Additionally, the three-tiered shelf on the left side is a quarter inch short on width to hold a record. Why? It is a record player stand, why wouldn't the shelf fit a record? How could a 0.25" gap not be gained somewhere? Do not get this unit. I would return it if it wasn't such a pain. To return something like this, it has to disassemble and boxed it back up. The idea of a picture frame that can store 100,000 photos sounds impressive, but the process of uploading photos is extremely inconvenient. To add pictures, you must download the Frameo app on your phone and send each photo to the frame over Wi-Fi. The thought of doing that thousands of times is simply unrealistic. The unit does not support USB transfers, which would have made uploading photos much easier. I also tried sending photos from my computer, but that did not work either. I contacted online customer support, but they were unable to provide a solution. As a result, I had to return the item.
