As long as you’re not in a rush, or handy enough to install yourself including the breaker, this is a fantastic purchase. Living in Florida, the self cleaning feature is intended to reduce mold. I haven’t had to do that yet, but a great function. The remote has a lot of features including being able to adjust the temperature on each of the inside heads separately. I have already googled a replacement remote, because I lose everything. If you aren’t used to ductless AC, you’ll just want to locate the manual override on the inside unit heads, or use the app on your phone. The inverter option is great for any place with short winters for the same reason noted above, no furnace needed! I heat up a room for the cold hours of the night and that’s it. The remote control is a must, but it works great with the thermostat so I just set the temperature I like and that’s it! The room stays at a comfortable temperature. My husband was able to do most of the installation. It was relatively easy to install the unit on the wall with parts that are included, we only had a certified electrician do the the connection and final install of the unit.
