We've put it on the wall and powered it up and everything seems to be working as it should. I haven't yet measured the surface temperature of the panels but my "touch test" suggests it's at or close to the 158 degree advertised temperature. It also seems solidly built, so I feel confident it will hold up over time. Standard bath towels, first folded in half, fit pretty well, although they hang just a touch over the end. We also did a "hardwired" installation, with the wire running behind the wall to the junction box. This involves a little extra work, including cutting off the plug and stripping the wires, but it provides a "cleaner" look and in my view is worth the effort. My one modest complaint is that the wall anchors that are included don't feel sufficient for long-term hold, particularly on the 4-bar model. I strongly suggest that you find a stud for mounting, and use "wing" style anchors where a stud is not available. This is what we did and it now feels quite solid. With two groups of five heated bars, this towel warmer has more than enough room to accommodate two large towels (or a bathrobe) to warm or dry them in between uses. The Metropolitan is made from durable stainless steel with a highly polished finish that is both attractive and easy to clean. The Metropolitan is also dual connection, meaning it can be used “as is” to plug into a standard 120 VAC outlet or it can be modified by a licensed electrician to have a hardwired 120 VAC electrical connection. When the Metropolitan is installed with a hardwired electrical connection, its unique design means there is no unattractive and cumbersome cover plate required. Additionally, this towel warmer is extremely safe and is cETLus listed. The Metropolitan comes with an LED power switch and TempSmart overheat protection to prevent the unit’s surface temperature from exceeding 176F (80C). Optional towel warmer controls sold separately.

We had a friend tell us to make sure we put a towel warmer in! So glad we did! The square shape matched all our Square accessories! This particular one can be hot wired or plugged in. So mine just plugs into the wall! You do have to turn it on and off. And it usually take a minute to get warm… (it doesn’t have an emergency to hot turn off in it) so we are going to look for some kind of timer maybe to leave it plugged into. But we do enjoy it!. This KB faucet was chosen for its' easy-to-grip handles and victorian look. Our plumber installed it without any problem as well as the CLAYTON Floor-Mounted Bidet (also from Wayfair). Another factor in this purchase was the 1.5 GPM flow advertised BUT this faucet came with a SINK Aerator that cut down the spray nozzle force. I was lucky enough to get a 1.8 adjustable spray aerator directly from KB. Overall, this would have been a "FIVE" if a good aerator/spray nozzle didn't dim the usefulness came as original equipment.. My husband had to modify them to make everything fit properly. Overall Once installed it works great and feels like a huge upgrade to our bathroom.
