We had our contractor install two of these heaters with the covered patio extension we built last spring. We spend a ton of time enjoying our patio year round and these heaters were put to the test and passed with flying colors. Heater kicks butt! Within seconds of being on, it produced a nice strong level of heat. The heating temperature range of this outdoor standing heater is 3 square meters, so if you have a big backyard, you will need at least 3 or 4 to keep it cozy. It's infrared heat, especially with children running around, so you don't have to worry about anyone getting burned by touching it. The patio electric heater also shuts off automatically if it gets knocked over.
