I really like this awning. It's easy to assemble and install. I did not take into account that it is NOT hail resistant. A hail storm ruined the panels, as hail went right through the panels. I ordered another one, because I really like the awning and its application. This time, I left the protective self-stick packing sheets on both sides of the panels with the hope that the protective sheets will help prevent future hail damage.. Doris. Oklahoma. Straightforward installation except there was no mounting schematic. The awning is 25” top to bottom plus a 6” skirt. I drew a 48” level line 25” from door top for the top rail. Top mounts were installed 6” from ends. Loosen the brackets but do not allow them to come apart. Place the rods into the awning pockets and install all rod hardware. Snap the top rod into the top brackets. This took me several tries. Center the awning. Tighten the top clamps. The last step is to mount the bottom brackets and attach the bottom side rails.
