Great piece of furniture! I was impressed that this item is actual solid and pure wood, sometimes you never know what you will get. It would be easy to paint or stain if desired. The number of pieces to put together was intimidating at first, but it went together a bit faster than the 1 hour stated time frame. I love the pure look and the fact that it is low to the ground. Hoping for an easy transition for my toddler!! Warning!!! One of the hardware bolts could pose a choking hazard if it were to come lose. There are 8 such pieces in total. They seem to be well locked in place, but I will definitely keep an eye out to see if anything shakes lose over time. Overall we like the table and chairs but I was a little disappointed in the construction portion. It didnt come with extra screws and so I was unable to put all of the required screws in for one of the seats because of how deformed it was.
