This was purchased to use as an art projector and it will serve that purpose very well. It is capable of projecting to very small sizes if needed and that is a plus. Lightweight, wireless capability and simple to use. My only bug bear is the user manual is not quite detailed enough. I wish still photo projection did not default to slideshow mode. The clock includes many features such as off to bed, time to wake up and a nightlight projector function. The bedtime setting turns the unicorn pink when it is time to go to bed and stays pink throughout the night as a nightlight during sleep. When the Unicorn is pink and has its eyes closed, it signals that your child should stay in bed. The time to wake freature is when the face turns greens and its eyes open signaling it is time to get up and out of bed. The nightlight illuminates stars, hearts and rainbow scenes on the ceiling which can be set for 15,30,45, 60 or 90 minutes and then quietly shut off. The clock is easy to use! It is nice and compact (2 1/2" square, as described), well-assembled (no gaps in the seams), the low-luminescence setting is good and the back is not visually distracting (as was the case with similar products). One note for potential buyers: the front, top and sides of the "black" clock are actually wood-grained charcoal grey plastic. Only the back is black. I will keep it because the clock's size, design and functionality were my priorities.
