Lovely decorative box! First, please note that this box is plastic, or at least resin-coated. I was disappointed at first as I was expecting a thin marble/shell veneer. The box sides can pass for this, but the top is more clearly a single sheet/pattern. This is clear now in the product info, but it wasn’t the impression I had when I first signed up to be notified when this was back in stock. One other small difference is that the inside is black, not a dark wood. It’s easy to open and close. One reviewer mentioned the top was hinged, but it is not. It is a lid that just lifts off. Overall, I love this for the receipts and business cards that seem to collect on my entry table. Absolutely love the look of this tile! I looked for a long time for something that would go with my navy and white cabinets. These glass tiles are a mixture of an almost muted navy and silverywhite.
