This was purchased to use as an art projector and it will serve that purpose very well. It is capable of projecting to very small sizes if needed and that is a plus. Lightweight, wireless capability and simple to use. My only bug bear is the user manual is not quite detailed enough. I wish still photo projection did not default to slideshow mode. This stand can be used to house a projector or laptop tripod. The height is adjustable to 74 inches. The pedal adjustment Angle and tripod height can be adjusted by hand screws. It can be used in bedrooms, living rooms, museums, showrooms, hotels, and other places. The stand does everything as expected and is very sturdy. We have a larger/bulkier projector. I was worried the tray wouldn't be able to hold its weight, but it seems ok with the fabric band that was provided. The only thing I don't like is that the stand goes up and down, but there's no capability to change the actual angle of the projector/tray. You can only use it flat.
