It is so matte it is almost rough. I did not realize that it said unglazed in the details, but it was not what we were looking for. Too bad bc I loved that it came in big pieces. I knew I wanted this tile. I appreciate Wayfair having sales. Lowe’s was 10.15 sq ft and I got it for 3.99 sq ft.
