I’m not sure why other reviews said that these were flimsy. Maybe they weren’t installed correctly. My husband did a great job installing these. We have blackouts and sheers on them. Our telescopic design enables you to easily adjust the rod length, ranging from 16 inches to 144 inches, suitable for window sizes from 72 inches to 144 inches. Just slide the inner rod or disassemble the rod section as needed. Before purchasing, please measure the entire window frame (not just the glass). The length of the curtain rod should be 4 to 12 inches longer than the size of the window frame. This extra length (referred to as the "overlapping part") enables the curtains to be neatly stacked on both sides when opened. For a 36-inch window, please choose a curtain rod that is 40 to 48 inches long.
