I’ve been using this iron for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly made ironing way less annoying. The soleplate glides really smoothly, even over thicker fabrics like jeans, and it doesn’t snag or stick. It heats up pretty fast, which is great when I’m in a rush. The steam is strong enough to get out stubborn wrinkles without having to go over the same spot ten times. I also like the pointed tip for getting around buttons and collars. Cleaning it is easy too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our last dishwasher was also a Bosch, installed over 15 years ago. I was shocked (though I obviously shouldn't have been) to see that the water and electrical hookups had moved completely, making the install much more complicated for me. On the other hand, the newer leveling procedure is much nicer. Of course, we're still just getting used to it, but I fully expect this new Benchmark version to last at least as long as the old "800" model did, and be just as easy to live with. (Full disclosure, the old one would still be running fine if "someone" hadn't taken a tumble on the open door!) So far, my only quibble (and it's a large one) is that the Delay Start button has been moved to ONLY the app and is no longer on the control panel. At least let it be part of your Favorites settings! Our default has been to set a 2 hour delay when we start the dishwasher, but I doubt I'll be willing to use the app just to do that. I LOVE the new interior lighting!. Ericb. Fri May 01 2026
