I have a ductless exhaust fan over my stove. I've spent over $1000 on a vented fans on my dining room and hallway but the cooking odors still lingered until I purchased this. Works extremely well. I set it for 8 hours at night and my kitchen is void of sautéed garlic the next morning. It's a very simple machine with only a few settings.
